Rio Negro Lodge I have never taken drugs but I can tell you that I am an Amazon addict for life. Imagine the one area in the world that is our last true frontier. Now imagine a 5 star lodge with swimming pool and air conditioning in the middle of the Amazon jungle. There is no fish on earth to match the explosive take and run of huge peacock bass, up to 28 pounds! We took nitro bass boats and float planes to areas that have never been fished before. The Amazon waters contain more species of fish than the ocean (over 4200). We were treated like royalty and caught fish till our arms wore out. Phil Marsteller has built the ultimate fishing lodge. My favorite fishing trip on the entire planet to date. Contact http://amazontours.com |

Three Forks Ranch If youve got the money, honey, this is the place. Three forks is a working cattle ranch with over 50,000 acres in the heart of Colorado trophy deer and elk country. The ranch has been the host of the Fly Fishing Masters Tournament for the last two years and for good reason. 5 star treatment and giant rainbows in the little south fork of the Snake River. I hooked and released countless bows from 22 to 28 inches. The ranch also has cutthroat, bookies and the rare tiger trout. Presidents and celebrities make this ranch a summer fishing destination. Ambassador Guides
I have been wanting to do a show on Lake Powell Striper and the incredible Striper Boils for years and when Bill McBurney called me in October to see if I was interested in doing a Striper show I thought that I'd died and gone to heaven. How does 10 lb. Striper exploding on a fly grab you. A trip to Lake Powell is a must for every living fisherman! The scenery will take your breath away. As noted by Lefty Kreh, world renowned outdoor writer and veteran angler, "Bill McBurney is a premier guide and an asset to the state of Arizona." Bill specializes in fly fishing for Trout on Lee's Ferry and Stipers on Lake Powell. Contact |

| The Guide Shop & Clear Water Drifters
My true love is catching huge steelhead on the fly rod. And this is the place to go to catch huge steelhead either with spinning gear or fly fishing gear. Evelyn Kaide has been outfitting for over 30 years and she will bend over backwards to make sure you catch a lot of fish. Her guides are hard working and knowledgeable. Her bunk-house is nicer than a lot of lodges I have stayed in. I plan on fishing here every year. The prices are very reasonable. Contact |

Rancho Leonero According to the book, "the Baja Catch", the greatest stretch of fishing water in the Northern Hemisphere is the 150 mile stretch between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas down at the point. Nutrient rich waters from the Pacific mix with the warm waters of the Sea of Cortez and create a soup for Sardina and Anchovie to explode. All of the game fish key on the bait fish or the small fish that eat the bait fish. You can go down in the Spring and Summer and catch Sailfish, Marlin and Rooster fish. In late Summer the Dorado, Tuna and Giant Bottom fish are everywhere. You will love it and your wife will too. Jeff Debrown of www.reelbaja.com was our fly fishing guide and Dennis Spike of www.kayakfishing.com was our kayak host. Contact www.rancholeonero.com or phone: 800 334 2252 |

African Angler, Egypt Nile perch grow to over 300 pounds and fight like a largemouth, yeap, you heard me right! We fished with Tim Baily of the African Angler on Lake Nasser for tiger fish and Nile Perch. They took both the fly and trolled lures readily. By far the greatest trip I’ve had in years. There is something about catching arm wrenching fish with a Pharanioc Temple in the back ground that will be seared into my mind forever. We will be planning a trip for next year, if you want to join us; the cost will be around $4000 to $5000 (depending on air fair) all inclusive!
